Farmer's Market Camp - Sculpt ,Paint, Imagine, Play!
Create & Play Camp! Ages 4-9
Our Farmer’s Market Camp will offer your child the chance to create their own market items to use in a dramatic play shop! Campers will sculpt and paint items like veggies, fruits, desserts, and anything else they’d like to display and sell in their market! We’ll also paint a fabric tote and apron, make a business sign, and create our own currency for more realistic play!
Campers will leave with an assortment of 3D sculpted foods, a customized fabric tote and apron for their shop, customized market sign, and DIY play money! Your kiddos will be all set to open a pretend market stand and dive into imaginative play with their creations! Our homeschooling family loves these types of crafts to teach skills like literacy (make a menu at home!), math (counting money, multiplying items x price), science (nutrition, plant life cycles), plus the added benefit of business etiquette!
This camp will use fabric paints that are not washable, please come prepared to get messy! Kindly send a peanut-free snack and water bottle.
Interested in attending the Paris Camp in the afternoon, too? Enroll in both and stay for Lunch Bunch ($6)! Please pack a peanut-free lunch and water bottle (plus two snacks). We’ll eat lunch, play games, and kids will have open craft time! Only one Lunch Bunch add-on required per camper.
Inclement Weather Policy
In the event of inclement weather, an email will be sent to cancel class if road conditions are unsafe. Cancelled classes will be provided store credit for the prorated price of your single class.
A full refund will be granted within 14 days written (email) notice. Cancellation less than 14 days will result in class/store credit. Please note, sessions must be canceled prior to the first class and are nonrefundable after the first meeting. Prorated refunds are not granted for sessions.
As a small business, and because we purchase supplies and materials in advance, unfortunately we cannot refund missed classes in sessions. We will do our best to provide a take-home kit for you in the event of an absence. We appreciate your understanding!
Please let us know of any allergies your child may have. We do use unconventional materials in classes, and want to be sure we’re providing a safe environment for our little friends!
